Tilburg Station is being completely renovated. Currently, the station sees approximately 30,000 travellers every day. That number was too large to handle for the old station.
In order to improve access and flow, the station has broadened the passageway under the rail lines and included additional entrances. This passageway was made more attractive to travellers with a variety of shops and other amenities.
Passages will also be created to all the platforms with lifts and escalators. GVI provided the aluminium frames, doors and facades for the new shops and other spaces.
Renovation of the station is expected to last until autumn of 2016.
